Cake anyone?

It's my friend Anna's birthday soon!

I promised her I would draw her a birthday card over the christmas holidays, I sure hope she likes cake!

Leaving work

A week ago my contract ended at work. I'd been doing a Creative Internship at Turner Broadcasting. 

This was my leaving present to them. I'd had the idea of how I was going to do it in my head for a long while so I was very pleased that it ended up looking how I imagined it!

I'd illustrated it on foam board - something I think I'll do more of in future - its cheap as chips and has a professional shiny finish.

My usual style of drawing - black ink (doubt I'll ever break this habit).

I must have been really bored when I did these... 

I really do struggle to draw anything constructive if its for no apparent reason. When I've got a reason ie. I'm drawing for someone else - their birthday, a leaving present, something to cheer them up etc. - I draw good stuff, but when theres no reason ITS SO BLOODY HARD TO DRAW. 

Bunnies - in formal wear OF COURSE!  a baby goat and a fox... why? 

Actually, I quite like the fox. He's cool. 

Drawing on the Junxion doors...

When I was in my first year at uni, I used to absolutely LOVE drawing on the doors in our halls. I bought some dry-wipe pens and just drew all over the doors, it was them most amazing therapeutic past-time. AND I MISS IT! I want some doors to draw on! 

God, that was about 3/4 years ago now... woah. 

Thought I'd cheer up my mate; Bex. She's been feeling a bit down recently. Again sort of exploring Anime style... 

Train doodling.

I thought perhaps a way to lessen the horrible pain of commuting to London everyday would be to draw.

The problem is when you're drawing on the train, everyone looks suspicious and they seem to think that you are drawing them! I've since given up drawing on the train...
